
Netflix’s Red Sox Documentary Wins Big at Sports Emmys
It was a gathering of greatness in New York City as the best of best in sports production were celebrated.
The 46th Annual Sports Emmy Awards were held Tuesday, May 20 2025 at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall in NYC.
Sports legends, reporters and hosts were honored throughout the night, including the Boston Red Sox.

Boston Red Sox Win Big at Emmys
The Comeback: 2004 Boston Red Sox took home the award for Outstanding Documentary Series.
The Netflix hit chronicles the epic journey of the 2004 Sox team that overcame an ALCS deficit against the Yankees, becoming the first team in MLB history to force a Game 7 in a series after trailing three games to none.

The three-part series takes us back to the thrilling moments, the iconic players and a dream come true as the Sox won their first World Series in 86 years.
