Police Officer Rescues Baby Seal In Nantucket

This heartfelt story comes to us from Nantucket.

The Massachusett's Environmental Police recently tweeted out a photo of Sergeant Mark Brighenti assisting a young seal pup that was caught up in debris that landed on the beach caused by nor'easter Riley.

The pup was separated from its mother, so Brighenti freed it from the entanglement and helped reunited it with the mother seal.

Just another day on the job for Brighenti... his good deed most certainly didn't go unnoticed.
