David Walsh was diagnosed with Parkinson's eight years ago and last year he heard of professional boxer, Rich Gingras's Fight to Fitness. Gingras expanded his gym to the local Parkinson's community and David Walsh heard on social media what he was doing.

According to Turnto10, Walsh wanted come over and check out the gym but he also wanted to help raise money for the expansion of the gym, Parkinson's Place. Walsh flew from Ireland to New York them took a 160 mile trek to Pawtucket. By the way, he walked it.  The journey took him eleven days.

If you had seen Walsh last fall you would have found a man that could barely walk and suffered extreme depression. After getting brain stimulation surgery in London he is now a new person and has become an inspiration to many.

Walsh hopes to make this an annual fundraising event and challenges anyone interested to join him next year!
