NFL Suspends Gronk For One Game

Looks like Gronkowski won't be on the field in Miami next weekend.

The Patriots tight end has been suspended for one game after his late hit to the head on Buffalo defensive back Tre’Davious White.

Though the unnecessary roughness penalty was offset by a Buffalo penalty during the game, the NFL felt the late hit called for a suspension.

So Gronkowski will miss the Monday night game on December 11th against the Dolphins.

ESPN says Gronk will appeal the penalty. He also apologized for the late hit, saying he was just frustrated because a pass interference call was not made on the play.
