Newport Woman Seriously Hurt In Boston Explosion
A woman from Newport suffered serious injuries yesterday when the two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
The woman was with a group of friends from the Newport area cheering on runners when the blasts happened. It's reported that she suffered severe injuries to her lower legs and was in surgery last night at Brigham and Woman's Hospital.
