
New Bedford Man Arrested For Carrying A Loaded Revolver

Police were called to a domestic violence incident at the Nashmount Housing Development Saturday night, and found a 24-year-old woman who had allegedly attacked by her boyfriend. She was treated and released at St. Luke's Hospital.
Officers then received a tip that her boyfriend was seen at the Presidential Housing development. They found 23-year-old Curtis Cruz who then fled on foot. After a short chase he was arrested.
Police found a loaded .22 caliber revolver and 6 rounds of ammunition on Cruz. He had no permit and is not licensed to carry firearms. he is facing assault and firearms charges.
