New Bedford High Student Fights Teen Suicide With Fundraiser

Cierra Vicente is a student at New Bedford High School. She's lost two friends to teen suicide, and needed to do something about it. She has partnered with the Greater New Bedford Suicide Coalition and Safe Zones of New Bedford to create a special night called "Here for a Purpose". In the video below she told us about the upcoming event and how it will help local teenagers.

Tickets are $15, children 10 and under are $7, and children 5 and under are free. This will include a spaghetti dinner, dessert, Chinese auctions, raffles, and live entertainment from local artists.
