New Bedford Detectives Find Drugs And Cash

Police used a search warrant to check out an apartment at 157 Myrtle Street in New Bedford on Wednesday night.  They found 200 grams of cocaine, 35 vials of steroids, and $6,000 in cash.

They charged the man who lives in the apartment, 29-year-old Derek Arruda with drug trafficking, distributing class B drugs, possession of class E drugs and conspiracy to violate drug laws.   Police say the search warrant was issued after a drug investigation.
