Mystery Man’s Random Act of Kindness Gets Bride to Wedding Just In Time

She says she'll never be able to thank him enough for his kindness on one of the biggest days of her life.

The setting; this past Tuesday, the 4th of July at The Cove Restaurant in Fall River.  All of the wedding guests were there, overlooking the Taunton River under the Braga Bridge. The weather could not have been better for this outdoor wedding celebration! The guests, the groom and their family/wedding party were all anxiously awaiting the arrival of, well... the BRIDE!

She says that this was going to be the first occasion she promised herself she would NOT be late for.  But, we can't always control everything now can we?

Vanessa, her mom and 3 close friends were dressed and on their way to The Cove coming from Westport.  They were traveling in a shuttle type vehicle, know for transporting wedding parties and large groups to and from.  Just as the shuttle was getting onto the highway, it started stalling.  While the driver panicked, Vanessa was determined to make it to her wedding on time.  And then a man named Jay stopped to see if he could help.

Vanessa joined us on the Rock and Fox Show this morning to walk us through what happened.

She made it with a few minutes to spare, thanks to a very thoughtful soul :)
