Missing Lakeville Children Found Safe

Authorities say the two Lakeville children reported missing were found Monday evening.

Earlier today, police were searching for 47-year-old Valerie McGrath, who had reportedly not returned her two children to their father.

Family members had not been able to reach McGrath and were said to be worried for the children's safety, but as of about 5 p.m., both McGrath and the children were found.

Police say the kids were at a McDonald's in Raynham with their mother. EMS personnel checked the children out and reported them as okay.

They were home with their father by 8 p..m.

A warrant for minor kidnapping was issued against McGrath and she was arrested at the scene. She is currently being held on $10,000 cash bail and will be arraigned on Tuesday (December 22)  in Wareham District Court.
