SouthCoast native Mikayla Nogueira has become a household name in the world of beauty thanks to her huge success as a content creator. Nogueira created a platform where makeup lovers could gather for tips and tricks, and get the scoop on the must-haves and the must-nots.

After reaching massive success online, Nogueira is ready to expand her platform even further with the launch of her very own skin prep line, Point of View.

She joined me on Tuesday to share the details, and even reminisced on her time spent at Fun 107.

Before Fame, Mikayla Nogueira Worked at Fun 107

Before she was “Mikayla the Influencer”, she was a hardworking college kid looking to make a career in radio and landed a summer internship at the best radio station around.

“I grew up obsessed with Fun 107,” Nogueira admitted. “I grew up in a radio household, so Fun 107 is the only station my family listens to. It was a dream for me to work there.”

She went to college for communications, but her true passion was makeup, and in a span of five years, she made it her full time job.

Point of View is a regiment for skin prep. Gone are the days of slapping foundation on a dry face. If you have ever dealt with pilling, flaking, and caking, it’s most likely because your skin prep was nonexistent. POV is the answer.

One aspect of Mikayla that really stood out to me during our chat was how passionate she is about POV and what she provides to her loyal fans.

She shared the meaning behind the name “Point of View”, some of the most common mistakes we see in makeup application, and what customers can expect from the POV brand.
