From Wedding Planning to “Wait, Is That Mikayla?!”

Westport’s Amy Melody was simply meeting with her wedding coordinator to talk about her upcoming "big day," sipping on a Chippi Lite with whipped cream, when her casual coffee meeting turned into a full-blown “hold that thought” moment.

Who was spotted in line? None other than Freetown’s own Mikayla Nogueira, the social media powerhouse who has built a makeup empire and launched her own line, POV Beauty.

She wasn’t alone, either.

Nogueira was joined by Sydney Slayyyz and Samantha Taormina (better known together as Syd & Sam), making up their tight-knit crew- the “Goofy Goobers.”

Melody didn’t hesitate.

“I met Mikayla Nogueira for the 2nd time today! This time in the wild,” she wrote alongside their selfie. “I love watching her content and some of my favorite products are collabs or brands of hers.”

According to People.com, Nogueira publicly announced her divorce from Cody Hawken on February 12, 2026, though the two had reportedly been separated since 2025.

Fast forward to late March, and she confirmed she’s officially back in the dating scene and reconnecting with her high school sweetheart.
