Social media influencer and Freetown, Massachusetts native Mikayla Nogueira has been captivating her audience for years. What began as some "Get Ready With Me" (#GRWM) videos on TikTok has launched this local gal to social media stardom.

We spoke with Mikayla recently about her new product line, a natural progression from her partnerships with popular brands over the years.

She's no stranger to sharing everything with her 16 million-plus followers (on TikTok alone) including the highs and lows. She confirmed recently that her husband, Cody Hawken, was in rehab.

Nogueira was honest and vulnerable with her audience, as she always is.

Nogueira Being Honored at Bryant University

Now, Nogueira is catching the attention of her alma mater, Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The private university took to Instagram to share that Nogueira will be among a select group to be honored on April 11.

"This Friday, Mikayla will receive an Emerging Leaders Award during our annual Bryant University Alumni Achievement Awards," the post read.

The university noted her success on social media, relationship with major brands and celebrities as well as her studies in Entrepreneurship to Communication (which led to her internship at Fun 107 and WBSM).

The Annual Alumni Achievement Awards dinner and reception will be held Friday, April 11 highlighting alumni and faculty "who have made outstanding contributions to their professions and communities while demonstrating a deep commitment to Bryant University."
