Mattapoisett’s Sam Waterston Returning To Law & Order SVU

Mattapoisett residents see him bopping around town in the summer, and now they'll eb able to see their hometown TV star again on Law & Order: SVU fanatics.

Waterston will be bringing back his beloved Jack McCoy character from the original Law & Order series to appear in the upcoming 19th season of Law & Order: SVU, which kicks off September 27th, at 9 PM on NBC.

ABC News reports that Waterston joined Law & Order in 1994, and appeared in more than 360 episodes, before the series end in 2010.  Waterston is also filming a Western genre TV show set in the 1880's called Godless.
