SouthCoast Kids Share Their Christmas Wishes During Santa’s Magical Visit to Fun 107 [VIDEO]
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why- Santa Claus is coming to Fairhaven. Or rather stopped by, I should say.
Santa Claus made an early stop on Monday, December 16th, delighting SouthCoast families by dropping into the Fun 107 Studio for a special visit. Joined by Michael Rock and myself, Santa brought the magic of the North Pole right to the airwaves.
Thanks to the incredible help of the New Bedford Firefighters Local 841, Santa was able to make his way into the studio to connect with all the good little boys and girls across the SouthCoast. The phone lines lit up as excited children called 508-994-1071 to tell Santa exactly what they wanted for Christmas.
Santa, in true jolly spirit, stayed for over an hour, taking as many calls as he could and spreading holiday cheer. His booming laughter and warm words brought smiles to countless faces, creating a magical morning that families won’t soon forget.
The New Bedford Firefighters Local 841 played a big part in making this visit happen. Established in 1945, the union represents the hardworking professional firefighters of New Bedford. With over 236 members, they work tirelessly to keep the city’s 100,000 residents safe, responding to more than 12,000 calls annually.
From Santa’s visit to the heroic efforts of Local 841, this morning served as a heartwarming reminder of the magic and community spirit that make the SouthCoast shine during the holiday season.
