Kimberly Chartier's husband Jeffrey, and their son Tedy went to a Patriots game at Gillette Stadium in September of 2010.     Before the game, the 6-year-old, who is named after former player Tedy Bruschi, was invited onto the field by 2 NFL officials.   40-year-old Jeffrey went on the field with his son and was confronted by a security guard for not having the proper credentials.   Following the 15-minute confrontation, Chartier returned to his seat, slumped over and became unresponsive.   It was determined that he had died of a massive heart attack.

Kimberly has now filed a $10-million wrongful-death lawsuit against the team and the NFL.   It claims that her husband's heart attack was caused by the stress and trauma of the confrontation.  The suit also names the guard, the security company and stadium operators as defendants.
