Massachusetts Deals to Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week
Schools, students and teachers are gearing up for Teacher Appreciation Week, a week-long holiday dedicated to showing appreciation and recognition to all educators.
Teachers are the hidden superheroes of the world. They dedicate long hours and hard work to giving kids the gift of education. It's a task not so easy for many people and requires a lot of patience.
The teacher's role isn't just to provide the best education for students but also to ensure they feel special, loved and supported.
So in honor of everything they do, it's only fitting to dedicate a whole week back to them, showing appreciation and recognition for their hard work.
This year, Teacher Appreciation Week begins on May 4 and ends on May 11. It's more than just the education system that shows its recognition through events and celebrations. Parents usually chip in by sending thank-you notes and small gifts as a token of their appreciation.
Local places like restaurants and stores also provide discounted services, products and free admission. If you are a teacher, a few discounts are happening on the SouthCoast and online.
We listed a few places that'll be honoring teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week as it gets closer.
Some businesses already have teacher discounts through their own programs. We listed those, too. Just keep a form of identification handy to show that you are a teacher or educator in the state.
If you're not a teacher, sharing this list with one can be a gift in itself.
