Life is expensive. You empty the wallet gassing up the car, then drive to work, take the kids to soccer practice and head to the grocery store to spend whatever's left. Next thing you know, it's time to fill up again.

Sigh.

There's good news, though. Those defeated cries for help you whisper to yourself as you watch your money disappear are being heard.

One national gas chain wants folks to have full tanks and save some cash this Memorial Day Weekend. It has locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, which means you can get in on the deal -- but for a very limited time.

Circle K is hosting Circle K Fuel Day on Thursday, May 23, offering 40 cents off every gallon from 4 to 7 p.m. The company is also donating 10% of all profits to Children of Fallen Patriots. The nonprofit ensures a college education for the sons and daughters of people who die as a result of combat, military training accidents, service-related illnesses, suicide and other duty-related situations.
