Massachusetts’ Brigham and Women’s Hospital Awarded Pointless Grant

Boston is no stranger to doing big things in the medical community worldwide. Usually, when you get money for new research its a good thing, but this new study has me flat out baffled.The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded $1.5 million to study biological and social factors for why “three-quarters” of lesbians are obese and why gay males are not, calling it an issue of public-health significance according to CNS News.

Frankly, I don't get it.What does it matter?

What a waste of 1.5 Million Dollars..want to know why our government is bankrupt, because we do stupid research like this. What do they hope to accomplish here? Just wondering.
