Man Arrested Climbing Inside Boston’s Ted Williams Tunnel

Hello in there? Ever wonder what is behind the walls of the Ted Williams Tunnel? One guy found out...and called police.

A 27 year-old Somerville man got a little more than he bargained for when he climbed inside a storm drain and ended up trapped in a vent in the Ted Williams Tunnel. Daniel Kelly called 911 when he realized he wasn't able to find his way out. State Police narrowed his location down to the tunnel, then had cruisers drive through with their sirens blaring until he could hear them. He was arrested for trespassing. No explanation was given for why or how he ended up in the storm drain.
