SouthCoast Community Honoring Maddie Eitas Through Water Wizz Fundraiser
Those who are from the Tri-town know about the tragedy that struck a Rochester family in February. The Eitas family was on a dream Rocky Mountain ski vacation in Utah when their 11 year old daughter, Maddie, was caught up in an avalanche accident.
The unthinkable accident has left many in Mattapoisett, Marion, Rochester, and across the SouthCoast wondering how they can help the Eitases during this fragile time.
During an interview with Fun 107, Maddie's mom Becky told us that supporting fundraisers in Maddie's memory is something that is really helping her and those closest to Maddie get through each day.

"Maddie's love for sports and and her community touched everyone who knew her," says Becky Eitas. "Maddie had a deep love for dancing, soccer, skiing, and the outdoors, and she left behind a legacy defined by kindness, courage, and an unmistakable light."
The Meaning Behind 111
The name Forever1111 carries deep personal meaning for the Eitas family. Maddie was born on May 11, wore the number 11 on the soccer field, and was 11 years old when she passed away.
