Water Wizz Transforms to Hallowizz After Storm Cleanup
Spooky New Attraction in Wareham
Water Wizz in Wareham is taking a break from slides and splash zones to embrace the Halloween season in a big way. The park has transformed into a full-on haunted attraction. Hallowizz is open now through November 2.

General Manager Chris Bizier said the project has been two years in the making. “We’ve been planning for this since 2023, and this year just felt right to go for it,” he said. “We started decorating in September, and it took a full month to get everything ready.”

Wind Wreaks Havoc at Hallowizz
But after last night’s wind and rain, the Water Wizz crew spent the morning picking up the pieces. Decorations were scattered, coverings were ripped off animatronics, and props were knocked over. “It wasn’t fun walking in this morning,” Bizier admitted. “We’ve been fixing everything all day to make sure people have the best experience when they come.”
Halloween Fun for All Ages
Despite the setback, the Halloween attraction, which opened last weekend, has been a hit. Families can visit Hallowizz before dark for a kid-friendly experience featuring pumpkin carving and less intense scares. After 6:30 p.m., however, the haunted areas go to the next level and the Hallowizz scares are for mature audiences only.
Bizier said the attraction was designed for everyone. “Before six is for the kids,” he said. “But once it’s dark, it definitely gets scarier.”
Gazelle from The MGM Show will now appear at Hallowizz on Friday night after tonight’s event was postponed due to cleanup.
