Kitty Litter’s Final Drag Bingo
Last night was the final time that the infamous Ms. Kitty Litter would be hosting Drag Bingo, so I had to be there!
If you asked me about drag queens a year ago, I wouldn't have anything to say, because I knew nothing about them. That all changed when we hired Kitty Litter to perform a comedy show for my Mom's 60th birthday party last year. I was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. I thought I might not like her, but went into the party with an open mind anyway. Wow. I never thought I would LOVE her! It was from that day on, that I realized how fascinated I was with drag queens!
It's tough to explain, but seeing this woman in front of me dressed in a gorgeous gown, sparkling from head to toe, with amazing shoes, huge shiny diamond earrings, and spectacular makeup, and knowing that it was really a man, was just awesome! I was so intrigued as to how a man dressed up like a woman could look like more of a woman than me, and I'm a pretty girly woman! From that moment on, I became so interested in the lifestyle, even though it's not one I would choose for myself.
I had heard that Kitty Litter hosted something called Drag Bingo, which is just that...bingo with drag queens...and I wanted to go check it out! Well, they are always on Thursday nights, which is tough for me, because I get up so early during the week for work...but this one was the very last one Kitty would be hosting. I reserved a table as soon as I found out about the night, and gathered a group of my girlfriends to go. We had SUCH a fun time! I can't even explain what is so fascinating about drag queens, I think it's something you just have to experience for yourself.
I was so excited about Drag Bingo that I forgot all about the whole winning money factor, and was really just excited about having fun with my friends in the presence of fabulous drag queens! Well, it's for the best that I didn't expect to win, cause I didn't win, but I did have a great time! Now that Ms. Kitty Litter is moving on from Drag Bingo, I'll have to go check out one of her upcoming shows, because she is hilarious!
