Gazelle Reflects on 14 Years with Fun 107 This National Radio Day
It's National Radio Day, so what better time to reflect on the incredible journey I've had in the world of radio, specifically with Fun 107, than today?
Fourteen years ago, I embarked on this adventure, starting humbly on the street team, armed with nothing but passion and a drive to connect with the community. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a path leading me to the most successful morning show on the SouthCoast.
Working in radio is more than just a job; it’s a lifestyle. Every morning, I'm up before the sun, ready to take on the day with a smile and a burst of energy. My mission? To wake up the SouthCoast with joy, laughter, and the latest local news. It’s a role that I don’t take lightly, and I’m fortunate to be joined by an incredible team — Michael Rock and Maddie Levine. Together, we form a dynamic trio that has become a staple in the lives of our listeners.
I've always been fascinated by how radio has a unique power to connect people, inform and entertain, and create a sense of community. Whether it’s breaking local news, sharing a laugh over the latest viral trend or indulging in the best food that New Bedford and beyond have to offer, our goal is always the same: to bring our listeners the very best of the SouthCoast.

Of course, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes. The hard work, the endless hours, the meticulous planning — all of it is worth it when we hear from our loyal listeners who tune in every day. Their support is what drives us to keep pushing the boundaries and to continuously strive for excellence.
Today, as I celebrate National Radio Day, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I’m blessed to have a career that I’m passionate about, and even more so to be a part of a community that I love.
Here’s to many more years of waking up the SouthCoast and making every day a great day on Fun 107.
Stay humble and kind, my friends.
