Kicking Off the New Season with an Afternoon at WaterFire

Even though it doesn't really feel like it, the spring season is finally here and one of our favorite warm-weather places is kicking things off with a fun festival for everyone to enjoy.

This is a pre-season indoor arts and crafts festival at the WaterFire Arts Center in the Valley Street neighborhood of Providence. The event takes place on Saturday, April 20 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This is a free event but you'll definitely need tickets to get in. You can get your tickets right here.

You'll find local artists from the Arts Festival at WaterFire with hundreds of original designs and creations. You'll see gorgeous handmade jewelry, home accents and soaps and lotions made from scratch.

This will be a festival you'll want to take your time with and not rush through because there will be so much to see. You'll also enjoy live music with everything from kids choices up to adults and everything in between. The local food offerings are always a huge hit so bring your appetite and dig in!
