Kayaker Has Close Encounter With Humpback Whales [VIDEO]

Earlier this month, 43-year-old Karen Hatch was in her kayak, hoping to see a whale, when she got the surprise of a lifetime.   An 80,000 pound humpback whale came out of the water just feet from her in the chilly waters of Monterey Bay off California.
