Tickets for her New York and Los Angeles shows go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. and there will be a select number of presales happening Wednesday at 10 a.m. There will be more shows added for sure, and we can't wait to find out where and when. The Rock and Fox Show is seriously hoping she comes back to New England on this tour. And the fans who were hoping to have a listen to The Weeknd's song that referred to his time with Selena Gomez, well, they'll have to wait. He has gotten rid of all traces of his rumored tell-all single "Like Selena" from every corner of the internet.
Rumors of the song's meaning started brewing before Thanksgiving when The Weeknd registered a song titled "Like Selena" with the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. The song was said to be listed under The Weeknd's real name, Abel Tesfaye. He registered himself as the upcoming track's writer and performer, which prompted rumors that "Like Selena" was a diss track directed at her.
The Weeknd previously referenced Selena in several singles such as "Starboy" and, most obviously, "Call Out My Name." All evidence of "Like Selena" vanished on Monday this week when the ASCAP took down the page and all information about the song. Nobody knows if the song will resurface on The Weeknd's upcoming fourth album. We hope so, though.
