Writer James Patterson seems to think the trial and death of Aaron Hernandez will be a real page turner.

Patterson's publishing company, Little, Brown and Co., says that Patterson will be writing the as-yet-untitled book and it will be released in early 2018.

The AP reports that Patterson was "stunned" by Hernandez's death and wanted to figure out "what went wrong."

The book will cover the rise and fall of Hernandez's life and will be one of a collection of true crime novels Patterson plans to pen.

Patterson will donate a portion of the proceeds from the book to education and reading initiatives.
