Providence’s Roger Williams Zoo Reveals 2026 Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular Dates & Theme

For decades, artists have transformed Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence into a family-friendly fall attraction, taking average pumpkins and turning them into gorgeous gourds hand-carved masterpieces.

This year, it's no different. The glowing spectacle will once again dazzle visitors at the Roger Williams Park Zoo's Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: the Great Pun-kin Trail.

From Thursday, October 1 through Sunday, November 1, guests can stroll through the zoo trail as more than 5,000 pumpkins depict pop culture references, playful characters and pun-believable scenes.

Special Event Nights & Sensory-Friendly Hours

• RWP Zoo Members Only Preview Night: Thursday, October 1 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Discounted rates of $14 per ticket (available only for Oct 1) can be purchased online.
• Family Fun Nights: October 6 and 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy meet-and-greets with costumed characters
• Sensory-Friendly Nights: October 20 and 21 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sound will be turned back on at 6 p.m.
• Adults 21+ Only Night: Sunday, November 1

Ticket Rates, Member Discounts & Value Nights

• Teacher Appreciation Night: Monday, October 5. Teachers can enjoy $5 off general admission tickets with valid school ID or pay stub.
• Value Nights: Monday through Thursday. Adults are $20, children ages 2 to 12 are $16, and toddlers 1 and under are free.
• Member Discounts: Zoo members can save $2 off adult tickets and $1 off child tickets every night with online purchase.
