Fall in New England means apple picking, leaf peeping and pumpkin carving. However, it can also mean confusion when it comes to the weather.

The first few weeks when mornings start off cool so you grab a sweatshirt, but by the time you get out of work or school you're sweating. The worst.

Luckily, Cisco Brewers in New Bedford has come up with a solution: a pumpkin mudslide. It's the perfect balance for those weird in-between days where your mind plays tricks on you. You don't know if you're ready to fully lean into autumn or if you're hanging on to the tail end of summer.

What Is Inside Cisco's Seasonal Pumpkin Mudslide?

Their seasonal pumpkin mudslide is available through October 18 and it's delish. The coffee-meets-pumpkin concoction is made with vanilla vodka, NCC Rise Espresso, Autocrat coffee syrup, pumpkin purée, ice cream and half and half. Before you ask, yes, of course it has a cinnamon-sugar rim.

You may need to bring a sweatshirt, but the frozen cocktail is best enjoyed at their outdoor beer garden.

“Summer may be winding down, but Cisco certainly isn’t. We still have some great outdoor weekends ahead of us, including ACKtoberfest October 10-12 featuring Badfish. We’re excited to make the most of every last day in the Beer Garden, but the end of Beer Garden season doesn’t mean the end of Cisco. Cisco Kitchen + Bar is a year-round restaurant and will remain open seven days a week throughout the fall and winter," ServedWell Hospitality Head of Digital Marketing, Social Media & Events Kelsea Silverstein said.

Fans of Cisco such as myself will be happy to hear that some of their favorite events are sticking around, too.

"Guests can look forward to the return of Live Music Sunday Brunch, Chef Kee's Monday Asian Buffet and plenty of other weekly events and reasons to join us," Silverstein said. "We’re incredibly grateful to continue welcoming our community inside Cisco all winter long for great food, great drinks and the hospitality our team is proud to provide.”

Four Chains That Don't Use Real Pumpkin in Their Pumpkin Spice Lattes

We've entered pumpkin spice season, which makes summer-lovers cringe . . . while fall-lovers are trying to pretend they don't have the A.C. on, while they get out their pinecone- and pumpkin-themed decorations.

Here's a question for pumpkin spice latte aficionados: Do you care if your PSL contains ACTUAL pumpkin . . . or are you fine with whatever ingredients are in that delicious, mysterious pumpkin spice syrup?
