Rhode Island Comic Con Bans Smart Glasses and Recording Gear

If you want to see your favorites at the Rhode Island Convention Center & Amica Mutual Pavilion, make sure you follow the proper protocol while you're there. RI Comic Con issued a policy update on their Facebook page stating the following:

"For the privacy and comfort of our guests, attendees, vendors, and staff, Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses and similar wearable recording devices will NOT be permitted for attendees or vendors at this year's Rhode Island Comic Con.

Any individual found using such equipment may be immediately removed from the premises, and credentials may be revoked without refund.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding as we work to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone at #RICC2026"
