Blippi & Meekah Are Bringing Their Massive Live Tour to Rhode Island

Attention, SouthCoast parents: your child's favorite television and YouTube star is coming to Providence, Rhode Island. Following a successful North America and UK tour, Blippi returns to the stage, adding nearly 30 more stops to the tour schedule.

The Be Like Blippi Tour begins its additional 29-date run on January 15, 2027, traveling across the U.S. and Canada before making a stop at Providence Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 6.

Kids can sing, dance and enjoy a fun adventure with Blippi and his friend Meekah.

If you're not a parent, you may know Blippi by his wardrobe rather than by name. Draped in head-to-toe blue and orange, I'd expect a lot of young fans copying the iconic look consisting of a blue button-down shirt, orange suspenders, bowtie, glasses and the blue and orange hat and sneakers.

From YouTube Grassroots to a Global Children's Franchise

“Blippi has become a global phenomenon by inspiring children to explore the world with curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm,” Founder and Co-CEO of Round Room Live Stephen Shaw said.

The popular character was created in 2014 when Stevin John starred as Blippi in an educational video he posted on YouTube. My kids love the videos where Blippi explores fun play spaces throughout the country. If there's a giant slide and a ball pit, they're hooked.

Over the years, the Blippi name has transformed from a simple grassroots YouTube channel into a multimillion-dollar children's entertainment franchise. The brand expanded onto major streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime, launched spin-off animated series and live shows and lightened the wallets of parents around the world with toys, apparel, books and more.
