This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made.  But after nearly 20 years here at FUN 107, I have decided to make a major life change, and relocate to Phoenix, Arizona.

When I arrived here from the central New York State area in the spring of 1994, I knew very little about this area.   What I did know is that I was coming to work a great radio station in a pretty cool part of the country.   A beautiful seacoast community, not far from Cape Cod, Boston and Providence.   I was certainly loving life.

I was hired as the radio station's program director, and it was understood that I would also co-host the morning show.   I called my friend Kookinbocker from Utica, New York, and he soon joined me on the show.  Before long, we were blessed to have Sharon Fogaren come on board as well.    Kookinbocker later decided to return to New York where he could be close to his young son.

Except for a three year break when Sharon went into television at ABC-6, we did the show together until her tragic passing in 2009.   I still can't believe she has been gone for over four years now.

Since that time, I've shared the morning microphone with Michael Rock and Larry.   Great, talented people and good friends.  Michael Rock is one of the nicest, most sincere persons you could ever hope to know.   My friend Larry is loaded with talent and creativity.   Otherwise, how would he have survived being late for the show for so many years.

I have loved living in this area, have been honored to work for this radio station, and certainly have enjoyed meeting so many of our listeners.   I look forward to the next chapter in my life in Arizona, but I will miss FUN 107 and the people of this area so very much.

A few more days on the morning show, so let's have some fun.   Before long Michael will announce a replacement for my slot on the show, and frankly I think mornings on FUN 107 will sound better than ever.

Thank you so much for making these past 19 years the best of my life so far.  God bless this wonderful radio station and all of our amazing listeners.
