It’s Official – Princess Charlotte Is Her Name

On Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their second child, a princess into the world. According to WCVB, the baby princess has now been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana or more formally known as, “Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.”

The princess is now fourth in line to the throne, behind her grandfather Charles, her father William, and her older brother George. Prince William’s brother Harry has now been pushed down the line to the fifth heir. She is the fifth great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II.

Just twelve hours after birth at London’s St. Mary’s Hospital, William and Kate introduced her to world. Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana weighed in at 8 pound, 3 ounces.
