It’s ‘National Cat Day’…And Here Are The Facts
According to the internet, Tuesday, October 29th is National Cat Day. The website says it was started in 2005 to create a bigger public awareness of the number of cats that need to be rescued.
Here are some interesting Cat Facts from Animal Planet:
-Cats Sleep about 16 hours on any given day
-Cats have dreams. They start dreaming when they reach one week old.
-Cats make about 100 different sounds.
-Cats spend nearly one-third of their waking hours cleaning themselves.
-The average house cat weighs 12 pounds.
-Cats can see anything up to 120 feet away.
