When I got the "breaking news" (eye roll) that the McRib sandwich was back at Mcdonald's for a limited time, I couldn't have cared less.

I want to say right up front that I have nothing against McDonald's or its food, at all. We don't eat there on a regular basis but my family has their Mickey D's faves. Joshua likes the Big Mac, my husband usually will get the two cheeseburgers meal and Brody loves the Chicken Nuggets with BBQ sauce (I usually steal one or two of those when he's not looking).

Michael wrote a story a few days ago about how this on-again, off-again menu item was back for a bit but how we were missing out here in New England.

That got me wondering, "Who really cares?" Seriously, is it even that good?  I don't know one person in my circle of people who has ever had it and loved it enough to talk about it. I've smelled it and it's just ok. It's nothing like when you get a strong whiff of those famous French fries when you grab the bag from the drive-thru lady. Those smells are amazing.

This morning when we finished the show we were chatting with some co-workers and we were actually comparing the McDonald's McRib sandwich to a random deadbeat dad. It comes around once a year and we're supposed to get excited? Or how about, even when it's here, it's not even that good.

This might be an unpopular opinion and I'm fine with that, but I want to know for sure what our SouthCoast McDonald's fans think. Is the McRib all it's cracked up to be? See what I did there? 🙃
