Instagram Ads Are Here

The days of unspoiled photo/video feeds are gone, folks.   As of today, Instagram will start sprinkling paid-for advertisements into your photo feeds.  The first offender?  Michael Kors.

Millions of Instagram users will saw the Michael Kors ad (pictured above) in their feed today,  whether they wanted to or not.  Soon to follow in Michael Kors paid-for footsteps are mega-brands Burberry, Levi’s, and Macy’s amongst others.   At least for some of us, it will be a nice change of pace from photos of #lunch, #cats, #babies and #nails.
