Charli XCX just dropped some big news for fans. The 33-year-old pop star is hosting a select number of listening events in various cities throughout the country and around the world. For fans living on the SouthCoast, they won't have to travel very far to experience the unique event, as Boston made the list.

Exclusive Global Listening Pop-Ups Announced

"I wanna play you my album," the singer shared on Instagram, revealing the list of the 26 cities set to host the exclusive event. On Thursday, July 9, 2026, Charli XCX Presents Music, Fashion, Film will take over Kendall Square Cinema.

What to Expect from the Cinematic Theater Experience

"Presented alongside a unique series of docu style clips, behind the scenes and in studio footage shot by close friends, each track will be played in full as part of an exclusive first listen of the new album," the website reads. The events will take place exclusively at independent cinemas from July 9 through July 11.

Fans can RSVP to attend Charli XCX: Music, Fashion, Film - The Listening Events on her website. The film will run for approximately 43 minutes, giving fans a sneak peek at the music before her album drops towards the end of the month.

Her new album Music, Fashion, Film drops July 24 and features 11 songs. If you miss out on the chance to see Charli XCX at a local theater, you can also see her this fall when she makes a stop at TD Garden to perform her hits on stage Thursday, September 24 at 8 p.m.
