We have all heard of drive-in movies, but now we have drive-in concerts and I'm not sure I'm here for it.

Pretty much every concert you were looking forward to this summer has been canceled or postponed. Trust me, I'm beyond sad that we probably won't be giving away any concert tickets this summer – or will we?

Over in Denmark, they got super creative when it came to putting on a concert. A drive-In concert is exactly what you think it is, just like a drive-in movie but with your favorite band or artist on a stage in front of you.

How do I feel about us doing that here? I have mixed emotions. Yes, I'd love to still be able to see my favorite acts on stage live right in front of me, cheering them on and singing their songs back to them.

Can we still do all that with a drive-in experience? Sure, beeping horns and all. Here is an idea of what it would look like:

Just something would be missing. I love concerts because of the energy of the crowds, too. There's something about thousands of people singing along side-by-side. I also have a feeling the number of tickets they could sell would be extremely limited.

I could see an artist like Taylor Swift pull this off but I'd rather wait until it's safe to go to Gillette or TD Garden again. I'm hoping that Summer 2021 will be jam-packed with concerts to make up for this summer.
