Tickets for Taylor Swift’s May shows at Gillette Stadium are still as hard to come by as ever (unless you enter to win through our contest, of course).

Jessica Blanchard from New Bedford has found another potential way into the Eras tour in Foxboro.

Blanchard was eager to see Swift perform but also wasn't about to pay thousands of dollars for tickets, so she landed a position with the security team at Gillette.

“Work smarter, not harder,” she said.

On Friday night, Blanchard pulled the trigger and applied in hopes of getting the job.

“I wanted to go to the show and take my daughter originally, but I just don't have three grand to pay for tickets," Blanchard said. "The event security position popped up on Indeed and I said, 'You know, if I don't get the Taylor show, it's still an experience.' So, I applied.

"I got a call on Saturday while I was at work and they hired me right on the spot asking if I could come in this week for orientation."

Blanchard learned she could possibly work 10 shows. The question remains: Will Taylor be one of them?

“I'm hoping to find out this week if she's one of those concerts, but I'm manifesting and praying for Taylor because I would probably die with excitement," Blanchard said. "Either way, it's going to be an experience and a fun part-time job. I mean, who doesn't want to do security at concerts as well as football games?"
