It's restaurant week here on Fun 107 and the food has been flowing from the kitchens like Niagara Falls.

I'll be honest, I have a love/hate relationship with restaurant week, but I'll never say no to working it. I'm sure you're asking yourself: "Gazelle, how could you hate being fed food from some of the best restaurants here on the SouthCoast for five days straight?" and I'll tell you to talk to my waistline.

On Thursday, October 20th, the Michael and Maddie Show crew walked through the doors of one of the all-time favorites- Carmines at Candleworks. We've been here before, so this isn't our first rodeo with Carmines. We knew what they had in store for us.

The conversation of risotto balls has been brought up in the past about how many each one of us could devour in one sitting. Maddie says she can do about 10, I said about a dozen (on a good day), and Michael came in real hot with 20. Honestly, I'm calling his bluff right now, but it was chef Roy who claimed that 20 was a lowball number, further upping the ante.

Finally, General Manager Juliette Locke advised us to put our money where our mouth is and that if a "risotto ball" eating contest was going to happen, she was the woman for the job. Am I proud to be a part of this challenge? Shamelessly, yes. Only so I can prove to Rock that 20 risotto balls in one sitting are absurd.

Think you can take on the challenge? I'm curious to hear your input on the friendly challenge. Shoot me an email with the number of risotto balls you think you can consume in one sitting, with a time limit of 10 minutes at Gazelle@Fun107.com or shoot us a message on the free Fun 107 app.

Until then- Mangiare!
