It might be the most unique way to celebrate America's 250th anniversary—and it's only happening in Massachusetts.

Chelsea-based Kayem Foods is partnering with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston to combine two things I never thought would come together—hot dogs and historical paintings.

What Is the ‘There When It Mattered Most’ Campaign?

The concept is to transform historical artworks and portraits by inserting hot dogs into iconic scenes of America's founding with the "There When It Mattered Most" campaign. These delightfully reworked pieces will then travel throughout Massachusetts in June and July.

Kayem’s Summer of Hot Dog Creativity

The historical hot dogs seem to be a theme for Kayem this summer. They've already created their "Uncle Frank" character, who they call the "founding father of hot dogs", as well as "Old Tyme" and "Cannon Fire" varieties of hot dogs for the summer season.
