Horseneck and Westport Town Beaches Closed Today
Horseneck Beach, Cherry and Webb, Knubble, and East Beach are closed to swimming today due to high surf that is being caused by Hurricane Gert. While we don't expect the hurricane to come close to the Southcoast, officials are concerned that the strong surf may be a danger to swimmers.
Westport Town hall tells Fun 107 that Horseneck Beach is open, but swimming will not be allowed. The Westport Town Beaches are closed altogether.
