For the 4th year in a row, the Global Learning Charter Public School has earned a silver in the US News and World Report ranking for most challenging schools in the nation.

GLCPS has been ranked among the best and most challenging schools in the US. The school made it onto the US News & World Report Best High School List for the fourth consecutive year and the Washington Post List of Most Challenging US High Schools for the second time.

For this year, GLCPS has ranked among the top 60 high schools in Massachusetts and in the top 10% in the country by the US News & World Report. It was recognized as a silver medalist and in the top 5% in the country. GLCPS ranked 59th in the state and 8th charter school in the state.

The Washington Post's ranking places GLCPS among the top most challenging schools in the US and among the top 50 in Massachusetts. The Charter School is the only school in the area to be placed on either list. Only the top 12% of schools in the country are considered the "most challenging".

Executive director of Charter, Stephen Furtado Sr. said that the "national rankings demonstrate the dedication and commitment of GLCPS as a 5-12 school." He attributes the success of GLCPS to the "culture of Global Learning." He stated that "Everybody connected to the school is a part of the GLCPS family."

The Global Learning Charter Public School is a public charter school for children in grades 5-12. The tuition-free school is focused on preparing its students for both college and a life after college with a challenging and personalized curriculum that encourages both academic and personal growth.
