You want some ketchup on those fries? Well, unless you're under the age of 10, don't count on eating ketchup with any of your food choices from Mad Fresh Bistro in Fort Meyers, Florida.

It's a shocking thing to do for a restaurant that serves burgers and fries. According to NBC News, the owner and chef Xavier Duclos was born in New York and raised in France, where he studied fine French cuisine for two years. Duclos is denying patrons ketchup because he wants the customers to trust his cooking expertise.

"We know, we know. People love their ketsup," Mad Fresh Bistro's website reads. "But honestly, be ready. If you're over 10 years old, ketsup will NOT be provided. Similarly, salt won't be making an appearance next to your meal, either. We simply ask that you trust us. We know what we're doing! Part of the MAD experience is to trust the chef, and not have preconceived notions of what your dish is going to need."

I wonder what crazy stories we'll hear about patrons who demand ketchup at this restaurant. Isn't the customer always right? What would you do if you were dining at a restaurant that wouldn't serve you ketchup OR salt? Would you lash out?
