Nooooooooooo! Why? I can't believe I have been stripped of my favorite place for fried clams and succulent lobster long before the place should be closed. I mean come on now, at least give me until Columbus Day or Halloween. But, no. Of course it went down like this.

Thank god this fire was deemed an accident, because if someone set it, I'd be starting my own manhunt right now. The fire that began early Sunday morning at Arnold's Lobster & Clam Bar on Route 6 in Eastham has been deemed not suspicious, according to Eastham Fire Chief Glenn Olson and Cape Cod Today.

Police and firefighters were called to the extremely popular restaurant around 6 a.m. Sunday morning after an employee arrived on site and reported the fire. Eastham firefighters were able to contain the fire.

Arnold's is gearing up for the end of the season, and the fire has moved the restaurant's closing date up. The owner, Nate Nickerson will immediately begin making repairs and preparing the restaurant for its 2014 season. Thank you Nate, I'm a big fan!
