Festiva Buffet Offers Hibachi in Just 3 Minutes [VIDEO]

Festiva Buffet in the Ocean State Job Lot Plaza offers everything from sushi, to classic Asian cuisine to American classics, but the biggest bang for your buck comes from the endless hibachi station.

Earlier today, Jackson and myself took a walk (yes a literal walk, since the restaurant is directly behind the radio station) over to grab some lunch from Festiva when I had learned something new about Jackson that made me say "Hmmm".

Jackson had eaten at Festiva in the past, but had never dove into the hibachi. It was right there and then that I knew I had to take him under my wing for this one.

The way it works is quite simple, it's a self-serving station, where you pick from veggies and proteins and meats, basically whatever you want in your personalized hibachi plate.

Start with a base, whether it's noodles or rice, and build from there. I like to choose my vegetables next, so I'll choose as much of an ingredient as I choose from broccoli to onions to green peppers and much more. Are you a fan of egg in your hibachi like I am? Then grab an egg or two, the chef will crack it fresh on the grill and cook to order. The last item to choose from are your meats (shrimp, chicken, beef, etc.), choose one or mix it up (may I suggest the surf and turf?).

Lastly, before handing the plate over to be cooked, you'll need to choose from a variety of sauces such as Mongolian or hibachi, or teriyaki, and let the chef know your decision.

Within 3-minutes, we received the hibachi plate, cooked and hot to order and as I sat down and dove in, I was amazed at how quick and convenient it was, deliciously cooked to perfection.
