Experience a Rain Forest Without Traveling to the Amazon

April school vacation is right around the corner, and you'll want to include this well-kept secret here in Massachusetts on your list of things to do with the kids.

Anytime I am at a loss for activities with the kids during the school vacation weeks, I go to OnlyInYourState.com and look for ideas. They never let me down.

We have been to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston in the past and it's always been a fun time but now they have a bigger reason for us to visit: a real-life rainforest to experience at their Tropical Forest Exhibit. Ok, it's not going to be the Amazon rainforest, we get it. But it's an indoor rainforest nonetheless and not only am I excited to see it, I know my boys will be also.
