Diabetic Child Returns To New Bedford School

Six-year-old Hannah Walsh was back at Winslow School in New Bedford yesterday.   Her parents had kept her out of the school so far this year because there was no longer a full-time nurse.  That position was cut to part-time due to budget cuts.

But after pressure from the family, school officials have agreed to bring back a full time nurse.   Hannah will not have to transfer to a different city school.   Hannah and her parents are very happy with the outcome.
