Jay Z has always been a game changer and he’s doing it once again by placing cold-call customer service phone calls to customers for his music streaming service, “Tidal,” according to Billboard.

If you’re a Tidal customer, you could potentially get a personal phone call from HOV himself. According to Business Insider and Tidal executive Vania Schlogel said, "He called some of his fans and one of them made the funniest comment. He said 'This is the best customer service call I’ve ever received!'" Jay Z is "very deeply involved, and the reason being is because this is a life project for him and he works every day on the site.”

Jay Z isn’t the only one that has been calling Tidal subscribers. Jack White and several other high-profile musicians have also been calling their fans up to talk about Tidal. Musicians that are on Tidal are given their own accounts on the site, which allows them to monitor who listens to their music, and to see statistics about how their albums are performing. Schlogel said that the artists have the ability to see user’s contact information so they can get in touch with them directly, if they wanted to.

According to Business Insider, Jay Z has been playing a big role in the development of Tidal, which he acquired for $56 million in March. Parent company Aspiro operated two different streaming services: WiMP and Tidal, but they have been combined into a single product. “Tidal is introducing the first music streaming service that combines the best High Fidelity sound quality, High Definition music videos and expertly Curated Editorial,” according to the Tidal website.
